Metro Atlanta Republicans (MARs) is dedicated to expanding the Republican Party in Metro Atlanta by reaching out to all our diverse communities.
Metro Atlanta Republicans care about the future of our state, the culture of politics, and the direction of our party. We are cosmopolitan in our world view, conservative in our demeanor, and professional in our vocations whatever those may be.
Our values include diversity, equality, civil liberty, fiscal responsibility, and personal empowerment. We seek to put these values into action by building a better Georgia for every citizen in every community. That begins with each one of us building community forward where we live in the neighborhoods which make up Metro Atlanta. The success of Metro Atlanta Republicans depends on you. MARs ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Endorsed a bill in the 2020 Session (SB 426) regarding the release of toxic Ethylene Oxide (EtO) that requires the reporting of all EtO releases. In the 2019 Session, we endorsed two bills related to healthcare affordability (SB 16 and SB 18). Bills which carry our endorsement pass 100% of the time.
Built relationships with over 100 African American ministers in the greater Atlanta area. Several have now officially become Republicans.
Submitted the Metro Atlanta Resolution at the 2019 Cobb GOP Convention which passed by the largest majority of any resolution. A similar resolution was passed in Gwinnett and Dekalb.
Had the most delegates attend County Conventions of any republican group in the greater Atlanta area.
Members have been elected to precinct, district, county and state offices within the GA GOP.
